1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Foodhero! Our mission is to help reduce food waste by connecting you with local businesses offering surplus food at discounted prices. These Terms govern your use of the Foodhero app and services. By using the app, you agree to these Terms, so please review them carefully.

2. FOODHERO CONCEPT

The Foodhero app connects users ("Customers") with local businesses ("Stores") that offer surplus food at discounted prices. Customers can browse available options, reserve items, and pick them up at designated times. We facilitate these transactions but do not take responsibility for the food quality or the relationship between Customers and Stores.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment information and adhering to the pick-up times set by the Stores. By using the Foodhero app, you agree to receive communications related to your reservations. Please ensure that all your account details are kept up to date.

4. ORDER PROCESS

An order is confirmed when a Store accepts your reservation through the app. You must pick up your reserved items within the specified time frame provided by the Store. If you fail to collect your order within the designated time, it may be forfeited without a refund. The availability of products on the platform is an invitation to make a reservation, and the transaction is finalized upon pick-up.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Orders can be canceled by either the Customer or the Store up to two hours before the scheduled start of the pick-up time through the app. If a cancellation occurs within this window, a refund will be processed without any issue. Refunds for cancellations made after this period are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed.

6. LIABILITY

Foodhero acts as a platform connecting Customers with Stores and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the food provided by the Stores. It is your responsibility to check for any allergens or dietary restrictions with the Store before pick-up. Foodhero is not liable for any adverse reactions or issues arising from the food provided.

7. USER CONTENT

Customers may post reviews and feedback on the Foodhero platform. By doing so, you grant Foodhero a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display this content. Reviews must not contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material. We reserve the right to remove or edit any content that violates these guidelines.

8. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Foodhero app at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Termination may occur without prior notice, and any outstanding orders at the time of termination may be canceled.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the app. Continued use of the app after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

10. PAYMENT

Customers can pay using various debit and credit cards, as well as other payment methods available on the platform. Payment is processed upon reservation or collection of the food items. If payment is rejected, the order may not be processed.

11. PICK-UP

Reserved products must be picked up at the specified time and location. If you arrive late, the Store may sell the product to another customer, and you may still be charged. The Store will provide necessary information regarding the Products, including ingredients and allergens.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Foodhero is not liable for any losses or damages arising from the actions or omissions of the Stores or due to circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the reserved food items and does not include indirect or consequential losses.
